Successfully Navigated a Japanese Website
To: Triunfo.email Reader
Hi tech-savvy learners,
I had a pretty cool real-world application moment with my Japanese today! Sae suggested I try to perform a task on an actual Japanese website, so I attempted to go through the process of booking a (fake, thankfully!) shinkansen ticket online.
It was a great test of my reading skills and vocabulary, especially for terms related to travel and online forms. There were a few kanji I had to look up, and some sentences I had to parse carefully, but I did it! I successfully navigated through the different pages, selected options, and reached the confirmation screen – all in Japanese.
It might seem small, but being able to use the language for a practical, everyday task like this feels like a huge step. It definitely beats just doing textbook exercises!
Feeling accomplished,
Oliver
