Dear friends,

It’s time for another transition in my Japanese learning journey. My lessons with Sayaka have come to an end, and I’m so grateful for her structured teaching that helped me build a solid foundation in Genki 1 and the core of Genki 2.

Now, I’m excited to introduce my new tutor, Sae! We had our first introductory session, and her approach seems perfect for what I’m looking for next: a really deep, nuanced dive into the later parts of Genki 2 and beyond, focusing on practical application and subtle understanding. It feels like the right next step to really solidify and expand on what I’ve learned.

Change is always a bit bittersweet, but I’m looking forward to this new chapter with Sae!
