Frustration with Listening
To: Triunfo.email Reader
Hi everyone,
I’ve been feeling a bit frustrated with my Japanese studies lately, specifically with listening comprehension.
While I can slowly piece together sentences when I read, and my speaking is gradually improving with Sayaka, trying to understand native speakers talking at a natural pace often feels impossible. It’s like the sounds just wash over me, and I can only pick out a word here and there. It’s disheartening when you realize how different textbook audio is from the real world!
I know it just takes time and a lot more exposure, but this is definitely a challenging part of the journey. Any tips for improving listening skills would be welcome!
Feeling a bit stuck,
Oliver
