Stuck on Transitive/Intransitive Verbs
To: Triunfo.email Reader
Hi everyone,
Just when I thought I was getting a handle on some of the trickier aspects of Genki 2, I’ve hit a new wall: transitive (他動詞 - tadoushi) and intransitive verbs (自動詞 - jidoushi).
This concept is really throwing me for a loop. Understanding which particle to use (を vs が) and how the meaning of the sentence changes based on whether the verb acts on an object or describes a state… it’s a lot. My brain feels like it’s doing mental gymnastics, and not always successfully!
Sayaka is patient, but this is definitely a new level of confusing for me. It feels like a core concept that I really need to nail down. If anyone has any tricks or resources that helped them with this, please send them my way!
Feeling perplexed,
Oliver
