Hi all,

The day has finally come! After a thorough review of Genki 1, Sayaka and I have officially cracked open the Genki 2 textbook.

I was excited to move on, but I have to admit, it feels like a significant step up already. The vocabulary lists are longer, the grammar explanations seem more dense, and the kanji are coming thick and fast. It’s a little intimidating, but also very exciting to be tackling more complex material.

It feels like I’m really getting into the intermediate stages now. Wish me luck as I dive into this new challenge!
