My First Full Sentence!
To: Triunfo.email Reader
Hi team,
Big news! I know it might sound small to fluent speakers, but today, I managed to string together my first real, full sentence in Japanese and say it out loud to Yurika.
It was: 「はじめまして、オリバーです。すしがすきです。」 (Hajimemashite, Oribā desu. Sushi ga suki desu.) - “Nice to meet you, I’m Oliver. I like sushi.”
Okay, it’s basic, but the feeling of actually forming a grammatically correct (I hope!) sentence and expressing a complete thought was incredible. It’s these little victories that keep the motivation high.
Feeling quite proud today!
Cheers,
Oliver
